REFERENCES FOR WRITING
Hey kids! Have you ever had trouble writing essays? Always with the same old story about a boy and his best friend etc. How about we make a little twist into it. These ideas may be a good reference for you to explain your wonderful imaginations to enhance your story! Let's go!
1. Daily Dose of Internet
A playlist of all combinations, from funny to weird, from exciting to scary. You might also find bizarre things you've never seen here before. Take a look! One video a day is really going to help you in expanding fantastic ideas.
2. GMB Akash.
GMB Akash is a Bangladeshi photojournalist and his good ways of putting words really caught my eyes and I thought this would be a very good idea for students who wants deeper meaning in their writings. Here's one of his photo:
In this photo, GMB Akash requoted, "I lost my mother when I was very young. I always tried to please my stepmother. But for unknown reasons, she could not even tolerate my shadow. She had beaten me a lot as a child. I used to stand silently during the times she had beaten me. I could not cry, because she told me that if I cried, she will throw me out of the house. After silently suffering all of this violent abuse, one day finally, she threw me out my home anyway. I cried loudly all night while standing in front of the closed door, but not even my father came out to take me back. I come to Dhaka from Chadpur. I used to roam around all the streets and sometimes ate from dustbins. Then, one day I got this job; a job of a sweeper. But the sad thing is that everyone hates us and no one wants to talk to us. Today, I am very happy, brother, because nobody ever took my photo; no one ever wanted to know if I have something to share. When you tell my story to people, please tell them not to hate the sweepers. If we stop cleaning, you will die. We are servants; we go into your rubbish. By becoming dirty, we cleanse you. Please tell the people to not look at us with hatred" - Md Rabbi (18) Photo and story by GMB Akash.
You can find more of his works at his website or his social media; Instagram: @gmbakash or Facebook: GMB AKASH.
3. Animes!
As much as people think of it as just a normal 'cartoon', well, it has more into it. The well written characters and plot and of course a good moral story. I think this anime list is good for you. Go watch it!
I think that is all for today's post. There a lot more references for a good essay writing but I'll leave that in my future post. Make sure you click on all these references and have a good look at it. Remember! No progress, no success. Ta!
